Drew Shapiro is a student at Seattle University's School of Law. Drew spent most of his two Air Force enlistments stationed at JBLM, where he ended his career as an instructor loadmaster with more than 1700 hours on the C-17 Globemaster III. As an enlisted aviator, Drew earned an Air Medal and an Aerial Achievement Medal for his actions on what he calls a few “really bad days.” In his flying career, he completed more than 300 OIF/OEF combat missions. Drew also worked as a NATO liaison, project manager, armorer, and even volunteered for a force protection deployment. In 2011, Drew left the USAF to attend Syracuse University where he double-majored in Photojournalism and Middle Eastern Studies. Drew is active on campus at Seattle U, where he is the treasurer of the Veteran's Law Society and member of Phi Alpha Delta.
