Shane McKinnie is a founding member of the WSVBA and a commander in the navy reserve. Shane is a Washington native with a B.A. from Washington State University, M.A. from the Naval War College, and a J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law. He served on active-duty for nearly 9 years before attending law school and continues to serve with Patrol Squadron 69, based at Whidbey Island, and was recently selected to serve as the squadron's commanding officer. Shane is a qualified a Naval Flight Officer and instructor, with over 1400 hours in the P-3 Orion aircraft. Shane owns and operates McKinnie Law PLLC, a small law firm focused on criminal defense.
