Job Alert: Veteran's Court Liaison

Veterans's Court Liaison (Sound Response/Court Transitions): Full time with full benefits (Seattle). Provide assessment, clinical eligibility screening and reentry bridge services to ensure linkage to community based treatment, housing and basic need resources for adult veterans who are referred to the Regional Veterans Court (RVC) and Veterans Treatment Court (VTC).  The Clinical Services Team will provide services for adult U.S. Military Veterans who have mental health disorders, co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, or Traumatic Brain Injury. Access and utilize the King County Extended Client Lookup System. Review criminal justice history to evaluate relationship between behavior and trauma, and inform treatment planning. Initiate and maintain frequent contact with each referred veteran. Assist individuals who need help reconnecting to services, if appropriate. MHP and Master's degree in a social services field required. Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with community mental health, severely disturbed individuals and the criminal justice system is essential. Two years' experience working with chronically mentally ill involved in the criminal justice system is preferred; at least six months' experience working with courts and defendants is recommended. A working knowledge of co-occurring behavioral health issues is a plus. CDP/CDPT preferred. Must have WA state driver's license and insurable driving record as well as reliable transportation. Salary = DOQ.
