Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson P.S. (HCMP) seeks an associate attorney to join our extraordinary team of attorneys and paralegals who represent banks and private lenders in sophisticated commercial loan transactions. Our team is extremely active and handles a broad range of loan types and collateral all over the Western United States, with an emphasis on real estate secured lending. Our work provides a unique opportunity for direct and ongoing client relationships in a team setting that promotes early development of client management responsibilities.
Delivering an exceptional client experience, self-motivation, teamwork, creativity and utmost care for details are critical success factors for this role. The ideal candidate will also have at least four years of relevant transactional experience, including documentation, negotiation, and closing of real estate-secured financing transactions on behalf of lenders.

Associate Attorney - Estate Planning
HCMP seeks an estate planning attorney to join its thriving estate planning practice. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience handling all aspects of estate and trust matters, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives and related documents, assisting with determining the need for probate and preparing the documents to administer estates, providing tax support and tax research with the preparation and filing of federal and state estate tax returns, and preparing the documents for transfers of interests to trusts and various types of beneficiaries. An experienced attorney with a well-established practice or one with less experience and some portable business would be a plus, but a willingness to assist with executing our team's business development plan is required.
